Free Diabetes Screening at Rabindra Sarobar, Dhanmondi

On 6 September 2026, NHN Ibrahim General Hospital, Dhanmondi, organized a free diabetes screening programme at Rabindra Sarobar, Dhanmondi, in observance of Diabetes Awareness Day 2026.

During the programme, visitors and members of the public at the park received free diabetes screening services. Individuals identified as having diabetes through the screening were provided with the addresses of NHN Dhanmondi Hospital and other nearby hospitals or centres of the Diabetic Association of Bangladesh (BADAS) to facilitate further consultation, treatment, and follow-up care.

The programme aimed to raise public awareness about diabetes, promote early detection, and guide individuals identified through screening towards appropriate healthcare services.
