On Wednesday, 5 August 2026, a free medical camp was organized at Uttara Sector-3 Kalyan Samity by the Diabetic Association of Bangladesh. The medical camp was conducted by three healthcare facilities of the National Healthcare Network (NHN) in the Uttara area—Uttara Executive Center, Sector-12; Uttara Executive Center, Sector-4; and Women & Children Hospital, Sector-8.

The medical camp was held from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, offering participants basic health assessment, free health screening, specialist medical consultations, and nutrition and diet counseling.

Specialist consultations were provided by Dr. Nazmul Kabir Qureshi, Associate Professor & Consultant, Endocrinology; Dr. Goniul Aziz Ibne Hussain, Associate Professor & Associate Consultant, Medicine; and Dr. Farzana Sharmin Shila, Associate Professor & Consultant, Gynecology & Obstetrics. Nutrition and Diet Counseling was provided by Syeda Fatema Akhter, Senior Nutrition Officer.

Following the medical camp, a Corporate Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony was held between the National Healthcare Network (NHN) and Uttara Sector-3 Kalyan Samity.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Syed Rezwanul Kabir, Hon’ble Chairman, Board of Advisors, NHN; Dr. M. A. Samad, Chief Executive Officer, National Healthcare Network; the Vice President and General Secretary of Uttara Sector-3 Kalyan Samity; and other distinguished guests and representatives.

Under the agreement, members of Uttara Sector-3 Kalyan Samity and their family members will be entitled to receive healthcare services and various diagnostic tests at 30% discount at NHN’s centers and hospitals in Uttara and Tongi, subject to the terms and conditions of the agreement.

The guests and representatives present at the ceremony warmly welcomed the initiative and expressed their appreciation for this collaborative effort to expand accessible and affordable healthcare services for the community. They also expressed their hope that such public-oriented healthcare initiatives would continue in the future.
