The inauguration ceremony of the NHN Tongi Healthcare Center and Tongi Pharmacy, an enterprise of the Diabetic Association of Bangladesh (BADAS) under the National Healthcare Network (NHN), was held on Tuesday, 11 August 2026.

The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Syed Rezwanul Kabir, Chairman of the NHN Board of Advisors. The chief attraction of the event was National Professor Dr. A.K. Azad Khan, President of the Diabetic Association of Bangladesh (BADAS).
Among the distinguished guests were Mr. Hanif Mahtab, Member of the NHN Board of Advisors and National Council of BADAS; Mr. Shahid Reza, Member of the National Council of BADAS; and Dr. M. A. Samad, Chief Executive Officer of NHN. The Chairman and the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Capita International Times Square were also present at the ceremony.
In their speeches, the guests appreciated NHN’s continued expansion of quality healthcare services and expressed their best wishes for the organization’s long-term growth and success.
The NHN Tongi Healthcare Center and Tongi Pharmacy were officially inaugurated through a ceremonial cake-cutting. Following the inauguration, the distinguished guests and participants toured the newly established healthcare center and pharmacy, extending their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for their continued success and service to the community.
